Dr Stanley Vann

Our Choir President

Dr Stanley Vann, one-time Master of the Music at Peterborough Cathedral, has been Choir President since June 1994, just four months after its inception.

Dr Vann trained generations of choirboys at the Cathedral in Peterborough during his 25 years in charge of music there.

Upon retirement, he started a choir at St. Mary’s Church, Wansford. In 2005, “The Major Organ Works of Stanley Vann” was published, and the Stanley Vann Scholarship Trust was announced. He currently resides in North Yorkshire.

Stanley passed away on 27th March 2010 aged 100.
