Robert Rountree—2003 to 2004

Robert Rountree was Musical Director of Peterborough Youth Choir from 2003–2004.

He completed his BA (Hons) course in Music at APU, Cambridge. During his studies at the university, he engaged in a wide range of choral activities in various leading roles.

In 2002 he was appointed Assistant Director of the Anglia Chamber Choir, whilst also developing experience through running a 22-voice choir of his own, Anglia Voices. Until the age of 20, he sang with Cantate Youth Choir for several years.

Robert now sings and tours regularly with Cambridge Chorale, for whom he has also composed. He is currently an Artist Manager for Hazard Chase Ltd in Cambridge, where his clients include the pianist Benjamin Grosvenor and the Brodsky Quartet
