We are pleased to announce that Fergus Black has accepted the post of Choir President. Fergus was our Founding Musical director in 1994 and continued conducting the choir up to 2006.

Will Prideaux has been appointed Musical Director starting after the Summer Holidays..

Our normal rehearsal times are:-

• Senior Choir: 9:30 to 11:30
• Junior Choir: 10:30 to 12:30

Singers are reminded to wear their informal tops on rehearsal days—it is quite necessary as an additional security measure. East Community Centre is a public venue and our tops are quite distinctive. They are one of the package of measures which identify us and support our safety.
Choir members are expected to attend 70% of rehearsals.

If you have any comment or points of discussion you would like to pass on to the committee, please contact the Secretary and they can be added to the agenda of the next meeting. The next committee meeting will be on 4th September 10am to 2pm at Helen’s.

A reminder that Autumn Term fees are payable now.
The fees payable from January 2009 are:-

• 1st child:  £35
• 2nd child:  £33
• 3rd child:  £30
• 4th child etc: free!

Just to remind everyone that the informal uniform, polo shirts and sweatshirts, can be purchased from the Park Road School Uniform Shop, not directly from the committee.
