Membership

• Peterborough Young Singers runs two groups
• Membership of the Junior Choir is open to boys and girls aged between 8 and 13
• Membership of the Senior Choir is open to girls from Year 9 and boys with changing voices

New Members are welcomed: please send an e-mail to the Choir Secretary (secretary@youngsingers.net) to arrange an informal interview, or phone and leave a message on 07747 395564

We are looking for new members who are enthusiastic and enjoy singing. Being a member of a top choir calls for loyalty and discipline, as well as a bright, inquisitive mind. Regular attendance is important.

Please Note Younger children, joining the choir for the first time spend an initial period as a member of a Training Choir, during which time they will not usually take a full part in concerts.

How much does it cost?

Nothing initially—the first half-term of membership is free!

After that, our fees (from Autumn 2010) are

• £36 per term (£9 per month) for the first child of a family
• £34.00 per term (£8.50 per month) for the second child of that family
• £31 per term (£7.75 per month) if you are lucky enough to have a third child who wishes to join up
• Free for the fourth and subsequent children (!)

The fees are payable at the beginning of each term
