Peterborough Young Singers are committed to providing opportunities for young people to sing together to the highest standards.

Our junior choir, for children aged between 8 and 13 years, and our senior choir, youngsters between the ages of 13 and 19, sing as one voice but also perform as distinct groups with appropriate repertoire.

We perform regularly around the Greater Peterborough area; supporting charities, the community and for the enjoyment and entertainment of ourselves and others. In addition, we are often invited to work collaboratively with other musical groups, complementing both instrumental and vocal ensembles with our own range of choral and individual musicians.

The choirs meet on Saturday mornings at East Community Centre, Padholme Road. We don't have auditions—if you are enthusiastic about singing, come and join us.

The young people come from all across the city and neighbouring towns and villages, including Bourne, Holbeach, Sawtry and Whittlesey. We rehearse weekly during term-time at a central venue and, not only do we sing, but we also support the children’s musical development with tuition.
